Equal Health

Equal Health is a Western Australian based charity that has its origins at Vision West. Since 1997. the charity has provided free multi-disciplinary health care in countries with developing economies. Aid is provided in the areas of optical, dental, general medical, allied health and ophthalmology.

Equal Health conducts aid camps usually over a two-week period. During the camps Equal Health volunteers test eyes, give away new spectacles, provide dental care, render general medical help, provide health education, as well as developing and implementing allied health programmes. Equal Health also provides free cataract surgery for people in India.

Although Equal Health is now managed by its own administration, Vision West continues to plays a vital role in supporting the organisation.
